As Bangkok has evolved into a metropolitan city, more and more places were taken up for redevelopment. Old buildings were replaced with new high rise such as malls and apartments while roads have been widened to accommodate for increasing traffics.
Bangkok Old Town has seen much of the developments contained which is good because with high level of preservation, this will add high and meaningful value to the districts including attracting more people, locals and tourists to visit for activities such as food, shopping and go for attractions that involve historical values.
Old, traditional style coffee shops in Bangkok has its days numbered but one that stands the test of time is the Nam Heng Li that remains open today though with much less interest and menu to offer.
Other Old cafes in Bangkok that still existed today including On Lok Yun, Kope Hye Tye Kee and Eia Sae which I had featured before in my previous videos.
Join me as we take a look inside Nam Heng Li and try out its coffee and toast in this one of the few remaining old, traditional style coffee shops in Old Bangkok.
