I managed to meet up with Adam and Dave again. This time we drove from Corwen to Betws Y Coed, via Ysbyty If an and Dolwyddelan.
We lost Dave quite early on because his clutch broke so after towing Dave to the Rhyg Estate, where he would be warm and refreshed, and could arrange recovery, Adam and I continued.
I had driven the lanes on the Corwen, Dolwyddelan and Betws Y Coed side, but was looking forward to the gnarly lanes at Ysbyty Ifan.
The lanes in Ysbyty Ifan were awesome, particularly the one with the big step. Keep an eye out for that one in the video. I'm sorry I didn't actually film Adam's ascent because I had got out of my vehicle to spot him up the step, but my ascent was on film.
I had also driven the lanes past Dolwyddelan Castle and from Dolwyddelan to Betws Y Coed before but they are worth a watch again as in these videos, I am driving the recommended way (There is restraint to drive one way on them).
