"Nina Awa" simply means "my uncle" in the Kewabi language, spoken in the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. This song is a tribute composed by Enoch Lope in loving memory of his uncle, the Late Rialo Sole of Poluputy, Papera Village in Mendi, S.H.P.
The song is performed by R & D Base Less and Dester in August 2025.
