Pavol Hammmel & Prúdy - Pokoj Vám (1969)

Pokoj Vám is an unrealized record of the Slovak band Prúdy , which was recorded in 1969 and was to be released in the autumn of the same year, that is, as the second album after the distinct debut, Zvoňte, Zvonky . It was recorded in the Studio of the Czechoslovak Radio Symphony Orchestra in Bratislava in summer 1969 and was to be released in the Panton publishing house. The release did not occur even though LP already had a catalog number assigned (11 0222). The reason for banning the entire album was the dark, depressing lyrics of Kamil Peteraj and Boris Filan, which evoked moods of hopelessness after the August occupation in the summer of 1968. The master board was lost after the ban and for a long time it seemed that the recording did not exist. However, it went through several copies between the phono-amateurs and especially in Pavol Hammel's archive . Thanks to these circumstances, the album was able to be reconstructed in 1998 and prepared for CD release. It was published in the Bonton label under catalog number 491767 2.
