In this casenote we look in a little more depth at the classic corporations case, Salomon v Salomon, when the court confirmed that provided a copmany's formation properly complies with the rules of incorporation, it is a separate legal personality to that of its members. This means that the members do not directly own the company's assets, and the members are not directly responsible for the company's debts.
