I was born and raised in a Hindu family, surrounded by temples, idols, and festivals. While I enjoyed the celebrations and food, I never felt a real connection with God. Later, I studied in a Christian school, prayed in church, and even believed in Jesus, but still, the deeper answers I was searching for were missing. To me, Islam was the only religion I feared, influenced by media stereotypes that portrayed Muslims negatively.
My life was driven by materialism, always chasing success, wealth, and status, but nothing gave me true happiness. Then in 2017, one night I had a terrifying experience. My body froze completely, and I felt trapped. In fear, I called out to every god I knew from my past—but nothing helped. Finally, without planning, my tongue uttered the words “Allahu Akbar,” and in that very moment, my body was released, and my heart felt a calmness I had never known.
That night changed everything. I began researching what “Allahu Akbar” truly meant and discovered the beauty of Islam and the oneness of Allah. The next morning, I took my Shahada. No one gave me dawah, no one invited me—Allah Himself guided me to Islam. My journey is a reminder that faith is the greatest blessing, and true peace comes only from surrendering to Allah.v
