Dry Needling the SCM safely. This is great for people with headaches and migraines as well as neck, shoulder and jaw pain.
The SCM attaches from the sternum and clavicle (collar bone) up into the back of the head (mastoid process). Its action when it works on one side is to tilt and rotate the head to the opposite side. When they contract together it pulls the back of the head forward like when you have bad posture and your head juts forward.
