Flying FIRST CLASS From My Hometown! American Eagle E170

Airlines have never offered premium cabin service from Champaign-Urbana. However, this all changed in May 2023 when American Eagle upgauged its flights to CMI from the Embraer 145 to the 170 and 175. These aircraft offer a dedicated First Class cabin and marked the first time such a product was offered from Champaign!

I had plans to go to Chicago one weekend and because it was so last-minute, flying using points was the easiest way. I was somehow able to find availability in First Class for the way up and get my first experience of the new service in my hometown. So with that being said, I hope you'll enjoy this rather special video!
