Some people are questioning why I participated in the Hornbill Festival Armwrestling event. The truth is simple .I was invited to represent the Angami tribe, and my purpose here is to help promote the sport, not to chase money.
Armwrestling is being featured at Hornbill for the first time, and if we athletes don’t show up, the sport will never grow. We train for years, we sacrifice, and we show up because we believe in building something bigger for the next generation.
People who judge from the outside don’t see the effort, the journey, or the responsibility we carry. Support or no support, we will keep pushing the sport forward.
