I added some explanatory captions for this video to make some of the schema more obvious.
This partimento by Durante is a lesson on ascending by semi-tone. He suggests two patterns: the first uses an arpeggio upwards to scale degree 5, followed by a descending scale to scale degree 3. The second is a descending scale run from scale degree 2 to scale degree 3. Both are great and are featured in my realization. Durante likely wanted the same pattern used for the other leading tone moves, but I decided to try my own patterns for variety.
I did two prominent changes. The first is an unusual harmonization of the D to C# near the end as a #4/2 chord that moves to a 6/3 chord. Though it follows RO still (4 descending to 3) it sounds a little different so I like it. It could for sure be harmonized as an oscillation between the leading tone and tonic.
The second change is the ridiculous finale at the end.... haha. It's not part of the partimento, and I added it in purely for fun. If you want examples of this sort of ending, then check out the finale to Giuliani's Rossiniana Op. 120 (his is better though).
