What We Leave Behind

This film is a personal, visual reflection of the world as I experience it today. I started this passion project in 2023 as a way to process my growing fear and anxiety of the reality we are living in.
Made with love and a deep concern about the delicate balance that humans continue to push. Even though it may not be for every audience, I hope it will leave you with a sense of appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our planet and the concerns that my generation has about our future, which is determined by our leaders today.
I know this film isn’t structured in a traditional format and it wasn’t made to tell you everything, but it is meant to be felt rather than understood. The end in particular, was made to mirror the overwhelming anxiety because time is running out.
Most importantly, watch it with an open mind and let the images speak while the music guides.
This film is meant to be interpreted more as a book or poem, one which you go back to to analyze and find the meaning of every frame and every character, especially what Noah and the organization represent.
So many people made this film possible and I will forever be grateful to everyone, especially Jack who connected with the story and character in such a meaningful and incredible way and my parents for their unconditional love and support towards me and this project. Thank you for opening the windows that enable me to learn about the world.
