A cold November afternoon, with a soft golden glow sitting low over the city. I start in Universitetsparken by Vennelystparken and roll out toward the centre, where the midday rhythm is fading into the slower pulse of the afternoon. Through Mejlgade, with cyclists weaving past in quick, bright streaks. Down to the river and along its calm line toward Dokk1.
From there I follow Strandvejen with the bay opening beside me. The air is crisp, the traffic steady, and the cold carries a quiet clarity. I continue toward Moesgaard Skov, where the trees close in and the warmth of the afternoon light filters softly through the branches. The ride toward Hørhavegaarden brings heat into the legs and a stillness to the mind.
Up Hørhavevej and Emiliedalsvej, feeling each rise in the road as the daylight begins its slow descent. Out onto Oddervej, where the wind meets me and the horizon widens. The ride ends at Rema1000, the body tired but the head light and open. A long afternoon ride blending city energy, forest calm and the shifting glow of late autumn.
