Severn Valley Railway Winter Steam Gala 2026! | 3&4/1/25

Today's video starts the 2026 season off with a bang, it's the now annual Winter Steam Gala at the Severn Valley Railway from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth via Bewdley! A home fleet gala, the following locomotives were in operation:

With fantastic weather for a winter gala, a mix of full line operations and shortened auto coach train services with 1450, it was absolutely fantastic to see!

Unfortunately, the weather, or more pertinently, the cold, is exactly this video's achilles heel and my camera really didn't like filming in the very cold snap we have at the moment (-5*C) so most of the shots are sadly filmed on my phone. I learned the hard way on Saturday morning that the camera was not going to play ball. It was great however to be in the company of @lukealfordsuksteam, ⁨@blackcountrysteamvideos8021⁩ , ⁨@harnettyrailways⁩ and more over the weekend.
