The University of Utah Bionics Lab has developed the lightest, smallest, and strongest robotic powered leg in the world. Now, with their new partnership with Ottobock, the sky is the limit.
Tommaso Lenzi, who leads RMCOEH’s Ergonomics & Safety program, oversees the University of Utah’s Bionics Lab. The lab is designing and developing advanced prosthesis and exoskeleton technologies to restore mobility to individuals living with a mobility impairment, recreating a world where physical disability is no longer a limitation.
