Scientifically, pressure is the continuous physical force exerted on or against an object by something in contact with it. Nevertheless, I don’t think it is possible to define pressure for daily use. The word “pressure” has different meanings for every individual. Dark alley. Therefore, today, I am talking as a person who has seen both sides of the story. You can have good and bad days because, in the end, we are all humans, not robots. If the weather was always sunny, there would be drought, sometimes, we need rain to balance. So don’t punish yourself for not doing well today, because someday, I am one hundred percent sure that if you motivate yourself through dark times, there is no reason for not being successful. So, I believe motivation makes diamonds from coals. I am Yağmur Eren, I was born in İstanbul/Turkey. I am an IB student at Üsküdar American Academy. Before UAA, I was a student at Eyüboğlu for nine years. I am passionate about volleyball, problem-solving, helping individuals who don't have the same opportunities in education as me, organizing events, creating innovative projects, coding and game design, learning, and mathematics. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
