📍 About Kedarnath

Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, located at an altitude of 11,755 ft (3,583 m) in Uttarakhand, India. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas, it’s a part of the Char Dham Yatra and holds immense spiritual and natural significance.

🧭 How to Reach

Nearest Airport: Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun

Nearest Railway Station: Rishikesh / Haridwar

Base Point: Sonprayag / Gaurikund

Trek Distance: 16 km from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (can go by foot, pony, or helicopter)

📝 Registration Process (Mandatory)

All devotees must register before visiting Kedarnath.

1. Visit the official portal above.


2. Click on “Register / Login”.


3. Create your profile and add your Yatra details (Kedarnath).


4. Choose your travel date and print the QR-coded registration slip.


5. Carry a valid ID proof during the Yatra.
