4,000,000 Telephones are reconnecting after thirty five years with the original four members, Richard Main, Malcom Tent, Eg Lucas and Carl Antony Plover releasing their first single in over three decades. 'Goats' is the first single taken from their forthcoming album released via download on Friday April 16, 2021.

Originally recorded in 1986, 'Goats' was part of a collection of unreleased material recorded by the band along with Jack Rabelais and Rick Woolgar. Dedicated to his memory, the track features the solo and arrangement by saxophonist, Rick Woolgar.
