This trip was all about experimenting in the outdoors. I packed light and headed to a familiar spot for a solo backpacking adventure. Along with the essentials, I brought a new hammock to test out — the ENO Skylite — and decided to try something completely new for dinner: an MRE (Menu 18 Beef Ravioli).
It was my first time trying an MRE, and as with most experiments, not everything went as planned. One of my tests was a success, and the other didn’t quite work out — but that’s all part of the fun of adventuring outdoors. Stay tuned to see which one passed the test and which one didn’t!
