This is the guitar tab for our cover of Hank Williams Jr.'s Family Tradition with Joey McNew on drums, and me on everything else.
This is a guitar transcription of not only all the guitar parts in the song, but also the fiddle and steel parts transcribed for guitar as well. So, if you want to play this in a bar with a band and you don't have a fiddle and steel, this is the tab for you.

Now, let's talk a little about Joey McNew and his incredible drumming. Joey is a Nashville based drummer who is one of the kindest and most professional musicians I know. He is kind enough to let me use his drum tracks for these recordings and I am so thankful to him for doing so.

As far as this song goes, I transcribed the original note for note, and replayed all the parts, except the drums. I filmed this process so that you could see how the song is played.

The Equipment used in this recording of Family Tradition is as follows:

Slate ML1 Microphone
The software is Cubase Artist.
The audio interface is a Tascam 208i
The Bass sound was created with a Fender Precision Bass, straight into the 208i.
The Guitars are a Telecaster, and a Blueridge Acoustic straight into the 208i. Amplitube 5 was used for amp emulation. (amp used was a 57 Bandmaster)
All vocals were recorded with the Slate ML1
Ozone 9 was used for mastering.
The video, and the recording, were produced by Abraham Myers.
