Mexico is a beautiful country. The culture, people, food, and landscapes have made great memories and experiences each time I have visited. Though I love fly fishing, I haven't ever tried outside of the United States. So when the opportunity presented itself to go down for 5 days to Tabasco to film and fly fish for Tarpon, Snook, and Tenguayaca--I couldn't say no!

This video shot on a Sony FX6 and a Sony 24-105 F4 Lens. I enjoy the compact size and in-body stabilization of the Sony FX3 that I use frequently, however, I knew for this shoot that I wanted to get as many "takes" recorded as possible, so I brought the Sony FX6 because of the "picture cache record" option so I wouldn't go through as much memory recording everything without that option on the FX3. Where the FX6 doesn't have IBIS and we would be shooting on water, I wanted to bring a lens that had IBIS, which the 24-105 does. The DJI Mavic 3 pro was the drone I used, and only became tricky when I had to land it on a moving canoe/boat. The GoPro Hero 11 was used for first-person views and underwater shots, which didn't happen too often due to the brown color of the water. There are a few shots I wish turned out a little different, but for the most part I am pleased with the way most of the footage turned out.
