I tiptoe through halls of remembrance and dust
Photographs stare from frames like ghosts in the dusk
The silence is breathing, it weighs like a shroud
Under dim yellow light, I whisper your name aloud

Funeral flowers wither on the table
Their scent is decay, sweet and unstable
I feel death's presence in every quiet room
A cold hand on my shoulder, a promise of doom

You left without words on a grey morning
Now every dawn feels like a small death to me
I carry your absence like a weight in my chest
Counting the hours to what will be will be

I wander the cemetery of my mind
Headstones of memories I cannot leave behind
Each night I dig up the question of why
If all ends in darkness, why live this lie?

Your voice is an echo that haunts empty halls
I'm chasing reflections that bleed down the walls
We are dust on the shelf, we are ash in the urn
In the end, into earth, we all return

A candle flickers, fighting shadows in vain
The flame surrenders to darkness again
I'm not afraid to follow the path you showed
Death comes to us all, in time we'll know
