we came back for round two of SLIPKNOT and this time we checked out THE DEVIL IN I after everyone told us that DISASTERPIECE was a completely chaotic introduction. we talked about how wild the masks are in this era, how the music video felt like a haunted house nightmare, and how many different layers the band has both sonically and visually.

we also tried to piece together what was happening with each character in the video, how cohesive the band somehow sounds with so many members, and all the insane fun facts you all shared about their early days. we both loved hearing more of coreys softer vocals and we are still trying to figure out what truly defines the slipknot sound since every song feels like an entirely new personality.
