One for the memories is taking an experience flight with Air Alderney, which flies between Brighton City Airport and the Channel Islands. To help publicise the airline, they promoted short flights to the locals. After spotting a Facebook post, we decided to head to Shoreham Airport [cough] – sorry – Brighton City Airport to see if my son and I could bag a couple of seats. For £40 quid each, two seats were ours! With glorious unbroken sunshine, we took a short flight along the coast to Brighton.
