During our visit to Joubertina, we saw that the town was between the Tsitsikamma and Kouga Mountains. As we made our way to the town, we spotted two small bridges that had once been used by the old Apple Express train. Although we couldn't get close enough to see them up close, we were able to capture their beauty using the drone. The sight was truly fantastic and left us in awe of not only the bridges, but of the natural surroundings too. Upon arrival in the town, we almost immediately stumbled upon the old train station and the old loco with boxcar. Unfortunately it had seen better days and was in poor condition. Nevertheless, we pressed on and continued exploring the town. The rest of Joubertina proved to be a hidden gem. The golf course was in great shape, and we enjoyed the lovely views from there. The Dutch Reformed Church was another highlight of our visit. The architecture was stunning and we were lucky enough to have the church open to explore its interior. Overall, our trip to Joubertina was a wonderful experience.
