New proposals in Quebec stemming from the Pelchat-Rousseau Report on Secularism and the 2025 Constitutional Bill pose serious risks to religious freedom in our province. These measures could lead to the taxation of churches, the loss of charitable donation credits, and restrictions on how faith communities gather and operate.
As the Body of Christ, we cannot stay silent. This is a crucial moment to stand together in prayer and in action. We are asking every member of our church to take concrete action by writing a letter to your Member of the National Assembly by following these steps:
