মুখের কথায় কি মেলে।
চাতক স্বভাব না হলে।।
মেঘে কত দেয় গো ফাঁকি
তবু চাতক মেঘের ভুখী।
অমনি নিরিখ রাখলে আঁখি
তারে সাধক বলে।।
চাতক পাখির এমনি ধারা
তৃষ্ণায় জীবন যায় গো মারা।
অন্য বারি খায় না তারা
মেঘের জল বিনে।।
মন হয়েছে পবন গতি
উড়ে বেড়ায় দিবারাতি।
ফকির লালন বলে গুরুর প্রতি
মন রয় না সুহালে।।
