The backrest is divided into three elements, two corners and one central which, like the two armrests, may each be moved separately from the others. The apparatus necessary to change the position from "low" to "high" is flexibly supported by a compact gel sheath that covers the moving parts and allows the padding to conform to the changes in the armrest and backrest positions leaving its initial comfort unaltered.

The mechanism that permits the different actions is not noticeable to the person using it.

The articulated joint on which the mechanism is based was studied to allow extremely fluid adjustments to be made so that the desired position is reached smoothly.

Lo schienale è stato diviso in tre elementi, due angolari e uno centrale che, come i due braccioli, possono muoversi indipendentemente gli uni dagli altri.

Il movimento necessario per passare dalla posizione "bassa" alla posizione "alta" è assecondato elasticamente da una guaina in gel compatto che riveste le parti mobili e permette all'imbottitura di seguire gli spostamenti di braccioli e schienale mantenendo inalterato il confort iniziale.

Il meccanismo che consente i diversi movimenti non è percepibile da chi ne fa uso: lo snodo su cui si basa è studiato per permettere spostamenti estremamente fluidi durante la regolazione e un arrivo morbido alla posizione scelta.
