His work, highlighting South African characters, has won multiple awards at the Cape Town International Animation Festival Student Awards. He wrote 'The Present', inspired by humanity's increased tendency to disconnect and escape present reality by being absorbed in fictional narratives. It is a story of re-establishing human connection and finding the beauty in the present.
