Should You Read the Drowning Empire Series?

The Drowning Empire series is an adult fantasy trilogy with a unique magic system, amazing characters, just enough romance to keep me happy, talking animal companions, forbidden magic, a revolution, and so much more! What else could you want? Oh, and it is beautifully and uniquely written too! The Bone Shard Daughter is a solid first book, and the Bone Shard Emperor follows it up fantastically without ever suffering from “second book syndrome.” The conclusion, Bone Shard War, is a beautiful ending. It is bittersweet and just what I want from the conclusion of an epic fantasy. While the last book did a few things I wasn’t thrilled with, I loved it overall and think this is a series that needs to be read and get more love here on BookTube.
