#19 February 2020.
The last time I saw my family — three years ago — but, finally, I'll be flying back to Australia next week.
We went to the Cup Noodles Museum (カップヌードルミュージアム) in Osaka, then we went to Uji (宇治市) in Kyoto for a day trip.
It was my first time to Uji and I was basking in matcha heaven — I loved it so much that I went back for the second time in the same month with my friend, who's also a matcha addict like me.
The highlight of this month for me was definitely attending HYUKOH (혁오)'s concert. I have loved them for so long and was ecstatic to be able to finally see them live (little did I know, it'd be the last concert I'd attend pre-pandemic). . they were beyond incredible live — I went by myself, as I always do for concerts, it's healing.
There was a long weekend during the month so I went to Tottori Sand Dunes (鳥取砂丘) — it was so windy, all I remembered was fighting against the wind and getting a mouthful of sand.
Then, I went to Kinosaki Onsen (城崎温泉) — it was my first time going to an onsen, despite having been living in Japan for over 1.5 years at this point, but I was so shy and self-conscious about it, but after this trip, going to an onsen has become my favourite thing.
