It's time. Do this. Plant your garden. It doesn't matter if you have no back yard or 1000 acres, it is time. We all need to get back to the way it was supposed to be. Start your garden. Start your homestead. Homesteading doesn't have to mean lots of land. Homesteading starts with a mindset of being more conscientious of where your food and resources are coming from. Grow your family, and grow a garden. You're not getting any younger, Hopefully, you're getting wiser though. Look at the signs, they're telling you this one thing. You're going to need to be more resourceful, you're going to need to work a little harder, and you will definitely need a more secure source of food.
In this video we plant our garden. We start by grading the area of our field with the box blade on our Massey Ferguson 1835E. We then use t-posts with cattle panels to create trellises for our vegetables to grow.
We are planting tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, garlic, onions, chives, jalapeños, herbs, and beneficial flowers to help ward off pests and to attract the pollinators.
