Hearts 1 Aberdeen 2 - The Dons leave it late into extra-time but seal Scottish Cup final berth

Jimmy Thelin's Aberdeen will return to Hampden next month where they will face either St Johnstone or Celtic as the Dons look to end a 35 year wait for glory in the Scottish Cup.

They took the lead through an own goal from Craig Gordon after a header from Pape Gueye came off the underside of the bar.

Shankland levelled things up for the Edinburgh side before a red card for Michael Steinwender left Neil Critchley's side with it all to do.

Hearts held firm and forced extra-time but another red card, this time for Cammy Devlin, proved too much as substitute Obay Dabbagh pounced on a save from Gordon to smash home.
