Heat treating stainless steel blade, Heat treating 12C27 stainless steel
G'day and welcome to a new series on making a beginner knife.

This is a simple little knife that is a copy of the first knife that I personally made, it has a very simple design that I first drew onto a piece of steel from a kit that i had purchased. The design was simple and made to fit the piece of steel I had by all means copy it or look at the references below.
Today is the heat treatment of the blade, a more complex 12C27 stainless steel but still very much in the reach of beginner knife makers to use.
