AZEEZ BELGAUMI_Famous Naat_DAWAT-O-HIDAYAT KI .... MERE MUSTAFA AAYE..... In Azeez Belgaumi's Voice:

Way back, in the year 1992 I had to attend a “Naatiya Mushaira” in Market area Bangalore-India, and I had no new “naat” ready to be presented in this Mushaira. However, I decided to write a new naat, since most of my naats had been heard and remembered by my fans. I reached the venue and took my pen and a small pocket book which I always keep with me for recording all the new couplets/poems as and when they are revealed to me by the grace of Allah. To my surprise, on its own, a rhythmic piece started echoing in my mind and it was “Mere Mustafa aaye”. Suddenly it was converted into a Misra with three pieces “1) Daawat-o-Hidayatki, 2) Ek hasiN shafaq lekar, 3) mere Mustafa aaye” and by the mercy of Allah, before my name was announced, I was ready with 5 couplets of this naat in a single sitting and presented the same in the said Mushaira despite the fact that the “Qafiya” was quite difficult. It was well received by the audience with applauds and appreciations. It was like “filbadeeh naat” and thanks to Allah that, from 1992 till date it is being heard and appreciated by lacs of people across the globe. Alhamdulillah.
It is a pity that many people recite this Naat today, but they forget to mention my name. Many such Naat singers are currently on YouTube. They are insisted again and again to mention poets name. After my Naat, many poets created their naats in my style, which is not wrong in itself, but it is a pity that the person in whose style they created the Naat is still alive, Alhamdulillah, and they do not even like to mention this fact, while in the style of the deceased poets, at least apologizing to the soul of the deceased is expressed before reciting such poetic creations. A Pakistani man realed an album of my Naat and did not even ask permission for it, and when protested, they got angry with me and turned a crowd of his fans against me and thus, we had to remain silent. In any case, its reward is with Allah. "Mera Paigham Mohabbat hai jahaN tak pahonche, (My message is love as far as it goes)." May Allah bless.

سال 1992 کی بات ہے، مجھے بنگلور(ہندوستان) کے بازار کے علاقے میں ایک "نعتیہ مشاعرہ" میں شرکت کرنی تھی۔ اتفاق سے اس مشاعرہ میں پیش کرنے کے لئے میرے پاس کوئی نئی "نعت" تخلیق شدہ نہیں تھی۔ تاہم ، میں نے ایک نئی نعت لکھنے کا فیصلہ کر لیا۔ اِس لئے کہ میری زیادہ تر نعتیں میرے مداحوں نے سنی اور یاد کر رکھیں تھیں۔ میں مشاعرہ گاہ میں پہنچا،اور اپنے قلم اور ایک چھوٹی سی ڈائری کو اپنی جیب سے نکالا، جو میں ہمیشہ اپنے جیب میں رکھا کرتا تھا،تاکہ نیا کلام جب جب بھی اللہ کے فضل وکرم سے مجھ پر نازل ہوتاتھا اس کومحفوظ کر لیا جائے۔ حیرت کی بات یہ ہے کہ مشاعرہ گاہ میں خود بخود ایک ادھورہ مصرع میرے ذہن میں گونجنے لگے اور وہ یہ تھا: "میرے مصطفی آئے"۔ اچانک اس کو میں نے تین ٹکڑوں کے ساتھ ایک مصرعے میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا "1) دعوت و ہدایت کی ، 2) ایک حسن2 شفق لے کر ، 3) میرے مصطفی آئے"۔ اور اللہ کے فضل و کرم سے ، میرے نام کے اعلان سے پہلے ، میں نے اِس نعت کے پانچ شعرایک ہی نشست میں تخلیق کرلئے۔ اور ان ہی شعروں کو میں نے مشاعرہ میں پیش کر دیا، اس حقیقت کے باوجود کہ "قافیہ" کافی مشکل تھا۔ سامعین نے مدح و ستائش اور تحسین و آفرین کے کلمات کے ساتھ اِس نعت کی خوب پذیرائی کی۔ یہ ایک "فی البدیہہ نعت" تھی اور اللہ کا شکر ہے کہ ، 1992 سے لے کر آج تک پوری دنیا کے لاکھوں لوگوں نے اسے سنا اور سراہا ہے۔ الحمدللہ۔
افسوس ہے کی اِس وقت اِس نعت کوکئی لوگ پڑھتے توہیں ،لیکن میرا نام لینا بھول جاتے ہیں۔ اِس طرح کے کئی نعت خواں حضرات اِس وقت "یو ٹیوب" پر موجود ہیں۔ اِنہیں بار بار اِس بات کی طرف توجہ دلانی پڑتی ہے۔میری نعت کے بعد اِس زمین میں کئی شعراء نے نعتیں کہیں، جو بجائے خود غلط نہیں، لیکن برا ہوکم ظرفی کا کہ جس کی زمین میں نعت کہی، وہ ابھی حیات ہے، الحمد للہ،اور اُس کا ذکر کرنا تک انہیں گوارا نہیں ہوتا،جب کہ مرحومین کی زمین میں شعر کہتے ہوئے کم از کم مرحومین کی روح سے معذرت کا اِظہارتو کیا جاتا ہے۔ پاکستان کے ایک صاحب نے تو اس پر ایک البم ہی بنا ڈالی اور اجازت تک نہیں لی، اوراِن سے جب احتجاج کیا گیا، تو ہم ہی سے خفا ہوئے اور اپنے مداحوں کی ایک بھیڑ کو ہمارے خلاف کھڑا کر دیا اور ہمیں خاموشی اِختیار کرنی پڑی ۔بہر کیف، اِس کا اجر اللہ کے پاس موجود ہے۔"میرا پیغام محبت ہے جہاں تک پہنچے"۔ جزاکم اللہ۔
