The sun rose over Nuuk, Greenland at 10:33 a.m., and as it did, Aviaq Brandt was in front of the United States consulate, as she has been every morning this week, carrying the Greenlandic flag.
Describing recent events as “a rollercoaster trip I didn’t sign on,” Brandt began protesting with the flag on Monday morning, as the threat of an American military invasion of Greenland was at its height.
