This is a memorial slide show video that goes over the life of George M. Eddens Sr of Edmond, Oklahoma.
A Christian man that loved God went into the Air Force Reserve and became an electronics technician for United Airlines. He also had a love for flying and studied and got his pilots license.
He was heavily involved in United Airlines training center in Denver Colorado where he worked on the flight simulators there.
After several lawsuits and a Department of Justice lawsuit and trial, Dad finally got into the pilot seat and flew for United Airlines as an African American pilot. But he had to trust God for it and he got to witness God open doors for him. Men would close them on him, but God would open them back up. He got to fly as Captain the last 9 years of his carrier. Of which he gave God all the glory for.
George was a generous family man with his great success that God gave him. He would treat family and friends with trips to Alaska and cruises. Many of which I and my family were a benefactor of.
