Bald Within a Week - Mass Hair Loss in INDIA
After experiencing widespread hair loss in recent days, a number of people in three villages in the Buldhana region of Maharashtra have gone bald in less than a week. Health professionals believe that the widespread hair loss was caused by fertilizer-induced water contamination. For testing, the officials took samples of the local water as well as the skin and hair of the inhabitants.
Over the previous few days, residents have reported that both men and women have been losing hair tufts. Within a week of the onset of hair loss, the person becomes bald. Top district health authorities have visited the three communities due to the panic.
About 200 people have been recognized as having this issue, and doctors worry the number could increase, according to the health department team that toured the settlements. Skin and hair samples have been gathered, and medical professionals think that both a health problem and contaminated water may be to blame for this rapid hair loss. The doctors have encouraged the villagers to take excellent care of their health as they wait for test results to determine the source of the mass hair loss.
