Ask the Experts – Viral Hepatitis D

The hepatitis delta virus is an infection of the liver that can affect those already infected with hepatitis B. The addition of HDV causes a faster progression to liver fibrosis than hepatitis B alone. This presentation discusses the particulars of this challenging condition.
