Multiplication Towers for Dyslexics
Multiplication can be hard for students with dyslexia or dyscalculia. So many things go into making it hard, including memory recall, working memory and pure memorization.
Learning these facts can be a challenge. If addition isn’t as big of a challenge then this strategy might be a huge help to your child.
Sometimes it’s much easier to do repeated addition (same as multiplication) in a different way.
Try building multiplication towers while working on your facts.
All a multiplication tower is, is building the facts or answers one on top of the other until you get the answer you need.
