The Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD)'s Innovation & Equitable Development (Inno. ED) team is excited to be hosting a second Commercial Kitchen Matchmaking event on April 13 for small businesses to meet restaurants and food businesses with space to share with emerging businesses. In advance of this, DSLBD's Inno.ED team is providing some key basics on why kitchen sharing can address key challenges of both hosts and small food makers.
In our March 30 Lunch & Learn, learn why this can benefit host restaurants, cafes, and kitchens, as well as what hosts should be prepared for. We'll also cover what small food businesses should look for and how to coordinate with future partners.
