3D Painting in Photoshop

Hi everyone. I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff surfacing online lately about 3D tools in Photoshop. After being heavily inspired by artists like Jama Jurabeav and Kyu-Seok Choi, I thought I’d give it a shot. And it’s awesome!

If you’re like me, and have an idea for an environment shot but can’t quite settle on a composition straight away, it’s a great set of tools to learn so you can essentially create yourself a live painting to play around with camera positions. This provides a bunch of options that you can choose from.I’ve recorded two videos showing how I used the tools to create different scenes. This video also combines photo bashing techniques too. Check them out and let me know if you find it useful! And definitely look at the work of Jama and Kyu-Seok to see how they work with these tools.
