Veteran Communist leader Satyapal Dang passed away on the 15th of June, 2013. He was 92.

This scene is about his first election victory in Chheharta, a former industrial township of Amritsar, Punjab. In this election he beat Congress Party's Chief Ministerial Candidate Gurmukh Singh Musafir.
