The Holton Interurban railway ran from Holtville, CA to a connection with the SP at El Centro. Contrary to the name, it was never electrified. It became an SP branch line and this video was taken in 1989, and represents a typical SP branch line operation.. Traffic was mostly perishables from the Imperial Valley. The line was abandoned in 1995.
