আদালতের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী ইশরাক হোসেনকে মেয়র পদে শপথ গ্রহণ বিলম্বের প্রতিবাদে নগর ভবন টু সচিবালয় অভিমুখে লংমার্চ কর্মসূচি পালন করা হয়েছে। ঢাকাবাসীর ব্যানারে এ কর্মসূচিতে অংশ নেন ইশরাক সমর্থকরা। কর্মসূচিতে বক্তরা বলেন, বিএনপি নেতা ইশরাক হোসেনকে দ্রুত মেয়র পদের দায়িত্ব বুজিয়ে দিতে হবে। গেজেট প্রকাশের পরেও শপথ না করানোকে ষড়যন্ত্র হিসেবে দেখছেন বিক্ষোভকারীরা।

A long march was held from Nagar Bhaban to the Secretariat to protest the delay in Ishraq Hossain's swearing-in as mayor as per the court's instructions. Ishraq's supporters participated in the program under the banner of Dhaka Citizens.
