Hiking and summiting Raven Peak, previously known as Mount Woodring in Grand Teton National Park via Paintbrush Canyon and String Lake Trailhead - Join the ladies and I on an unforgettable adventure as we document “The Girls First Teton Summit” – a grueling 16 mile and nearly 5,000 feet vertical gain scramble to the summit of Raven Peak (11,595 ft), a prominent peak in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. Starting from the Leigh Lake Trailhead, this video takes you on a journey through the scenic Paintbrush Canyon, past the serene Holly Lake, and up to the summit of Raven Peak, a class 2-3 scramble. Along the way, we’ll showcase the breathtaking beauty of the Teton Range, with panoramic views of iconic landmarks like Mount Moran and the Cathedral Group from the top.
This hike is a true test of endurance and skill, making it a dream come true for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, scramblers, and peak baggers. Filmed in September, when the weather is ideal for tackling the Tetons, this video captures the perfect conditions for such an adventure. From the first steps at the trailhead to the triumphant moment at the summit, every part of the journey is included, giving you a front-row seat to our incredible experience. This video was filmed and edited after the official name change from Mount Woodring to Raven Peak in 2025.
