From behind enemy lines on US soil as demonstrators are being shot with water cannons in 25°f weather in Cannonball, ND as they try to stop the illegal drilling under the Missouri River (no permit-land covered under the US Ft. Laramie Treaty of 1851 belonging to the Sioux tribe), that will place an oil pipeline that was deemed too dangerous to the drinking water and the citizens of Bismark, ND. The Governor illegally rerouted it to one of the US poorest counties in the country, endangering their only source of clean drinking water.
Tear gas, sound percussions, rubber bullets were also used on demonstrators as they stood unarmed behind razor-edged wire often seen in prisons and in foreign wars. Morton County Sheriff's Department also tried to prohibit their actions being filmed by trying to illegally shoot down the drones recording basic human rights violations.
