🌱 In this video, I take you on a journey from my roots in Cameroon to my new life in Canada—where I decided to bring a piece of home with me: Njama-Njama.
Njama-Njama is a beloved traditional vegetable among the Grassfield People of Cameroon especially the Nso people, often eaten with Fufu Corn and Khati Khati. Since it’s nearly impossible to find in Canada, my mom and I decided to grow it ourselves!
In this video, you’ll see how we:
✔️ Prepared the soil
✔️ Cared for it with love (and survived mosquito bites 😅)
✔️ Watched them grow, thrive, and finally harvested them for the very first time.
This isn’t just about farming—it’s about family, tradition, and carrying culture across borders. ❤️
👉 Stay tuned for the next episode, where I’ll show you how we preserve Njamanjama for the winter months.
