This is an update regarding the kois I’ve added to a 55 gallon planted fish tank about 4 months ago. Majority of my plants were destroyed as the koi aged.
There were many red cherry shrimp which were also eaten by the koi, however moved few shrimps into a different shrimp only tank. The numbers have bounced back up thanks to the shrimps ability to breed rapidly. Every now and then I do feed the kois live cherry shrimp.
