In this MEGA CPU Comparison video we benchmark the performance of 8 budget CPUs, side by side: AMD FX 6300 Vs AMD FX 8350 Vs Core i7 2600K Vs Core i7 2600K OC @4.4GHz Vs Ryzen 5 2400G Vs Ryzen 5 1600 Vs Ryzen 7 2700X Vs Ryzen 5 5600G.

We benchmarked 4 popular budget Ryzen CPUs against their older AMD FX siblings and we've thrown a Sandy Bridge Core i7 2600K Stock & Overclocked into the mix, for some reference!

All the cpus we tested can still game, ranging from the AMD FX 6300 6c/6t (Piledriver) at the bottom struggling to get over 60 fps in some instances, to the awesome Ryzen 5 5600G 6c/12t (Zen3) that offers unbeatable value/performance at the entry tier price range, just over $100!

The AMD FX 8350 8c/8t (Piledriver) put up a good fight against the Ryzen 5 2400G 4c/8t (Zen) and the stock Core i7 2600K, showing that it is still more than capable for every day use and light gaming.

As for the legendary Core i7 2600K 4c/8t (Sandy Bridge), what can we say? After 12 years in existence, this legend of a cpu just refuses to die and once overclocked it puts up a serious fight even with the 6c/12t Ryzen 5 1600.

The Ryzen 5 1600 6c/12t (Zen) still offers exceptional performance for all intents and purposes and can be found today for as low as $50 in the used market. What a bargain!

The Ryzen 7 2700X 8c/16t (Zen+) was never marketed as a gaming CPU, but if you still have one today or can find a used one for cheap, it can game like a champ and it is still a multithreading beast that can also do some serious work!
