Welcome to North Carolina! Join me on a journey to the heart of the "Tar Heel State" for a unique blend of art, wine, and legendary barbecue. I'm starting at the Bob Timberlake Gallery, a beautiful reflection of North Carolina's soul, and ending at the iconic Lexington Barbecue to try their famous pork shoulder.

The main event is at Childress Vineyards, a beautiful winery owned by NASCAR legend Richard Childress. This isn't just a place for racing fans; it's a testament to world-class winemaking, having won over 750 awards. We'll explore the deep connection between the winery and Bob Timberlake's art, which has graced their labels for over two decades.

In this video, I'll be tasting some of their incredible wines, including:

An off-dry Riesling that pairs perfectly with spicy food.

The fantastic Cabernet Franc Reserve with notes of chocolate and cherry.

But the journey isn't complete without a taste of Lexington-style barbecue. I'll dive into the unique world of this vinegar-based pork shoulder, perfectly paired with hush puppies and a side of Cheerwine soda!
